2022 T20 World Cup runners-up Pakistan announced the full squad for the World Cup hosted in WI & USA.

Babar Azam will lead the team on the big stage along with the balance squad and Pakistan is one of the contenders for the trophy.

Mohammad Rizwan, Fakar Zaman, and Iftikhar Ahmed are the key members of the batting department. Abrar Ahmed, Azam Khan, Mohammad Abbas Afridi, Saim Ayub, and Usman Khan will make their maiden appearance in a T20 World Cup, but Hasan Ali was the prominent absentee.

Genuine all-rounders like Shadab Khan and Imad Wasim are vital for balancing the best eleven. Also, their experience is likely to use the Pakistan team.

In a boost for Pakistan, pacer Haris Rauf was included in the squad after he recovered from an injury, having last featured for the side in January. Naseem Shah, Mohammad Amir, and Shaheen Shah Afridi are proven performers. Pakistan pace batteries are the fearest attraction for the other team. Pakistan is placed in Group A with India, Ireland, Canada, and co-hosts USA. They play their first game against the USA on 6 June in Dallas.
