Brendon McCullum Become Head Coach of England Men’s Cricket Team

England has announced that Brendon McCullum will become the head coach of the men’s white-ball team starting January 2025, ahead of their tour of India and the ICC Champions Trophy.

McCullum, who has been the Test team’s head coach since 2022 and is known for introducing an aggressive style of play in the format, has also extended his contract until the end of 2027.

In an ECB statement, McCullum expressed his enthusiasm for the new role, saying, “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed coaching the Test team, and I’m excited to take on the white-ball sides as well.” He added that he’s ready for the challenge and looks forward to collaborating with Jos Buttler and the team to build on their current strengths.
