First Appearance of Uganda in T20 WC

The upcoming T20 World Cup campaign for Uganda kicks off on June 3 against Afghanistan in Guyana. Uganda is set to make its debut in a senior men’s World Cup, marking a historic moment for the country. However, Uganda has had representation in global events before, notably through Samuel Walusimbi, who played for the now-disbanded East Africa team in the 1975 Cricket World Cup. After a long time, Uganda participated on the world stage after knocking out Zimbabwe on the qualifier stage. Brian Masaba is the captain and key player of the side. Other members of the team:
