While he had a solid record in Tests (2315 runs at an average of 40.61) and T20Is (1759 runs at 27.92), it was in ODIs that the left-hander truly excelled, amassing 6793 runs at an impressive average of 44.11. The former opener of India represented the national team in all three formats from 2010 to 2022. Throughout the previous decade, Dhawan was a prolific scorer, amassing over 10,000 runs and forming a strong opening partnership with Rohit Sharma in limited-overs cricket.

He was a proud member of the “ICC Champions Trophy 2013” winning Team and was the height run scorer in the tournament. Despite his last appearance for India in 2022, Dhawan remained a fan favorite and continued to be well-regarded by his former teammates. For more information.
